NS disagrees with myelogram findings

Hello to anyone reading this. I'm about six years post op for a dicectomy (my L5 shattered), lamenectomy and fusion. I've been treating for chronic pain and have noticed some changes lately. My left leg goes numb when I sit for very long, the pain area has spread upwards as well as more nerve pain in my left leg, and my left foot drags sometimes. Pain Mgmt ordered a myelogram, and the radiologist found my spine has turned to the left above the fusion, mild stenosis was present in a few locations as well as a bulging disc with a protrusion into a nerve. This all seemed to make sense in relation to what I was experiencing...and then a follow up with my NS threw me for a serious loop.

He came in over an hour late, quickly scrolled through the images and said my spine is healthy and there is no anatomical reason for my pain. I was shocked and asked about the items the radiologist stated in his report. The NS acted surprised, as if he had not seen that, and said he disagreed with everything. When I asked about the image on the screen showing a clearly visible left turn in my spine, he said it was fine, slapped me on the knee and walked out. He's moving his practice to a much larger city, and I feel like he washed his hands of me. Am I crazy and the radiologist a liar? Has anyone else experienced this denial of everything even the NS himself already diagnosed (stenosis, herniated and bulging discs, nerve damage)? I thought he would be able to offer some relief, and instead I was brushed off and told nothing is wrong at all. Im depressed, wanting to cry with every nerve pain or foot drag because it's like I'm being taunted and keep hearing him tell me my spine is "healthy." I'm doubting my own sanity. I'm trapped between a body that doesn't work like it used to and an NS who walked away.

Well since NS is moving on anyway, I'd request a copy of the report & the images, and start looking for a new dr to replace this one..

If you could see the issue on the image that was mentioned in the rad tech report, I would not waste any more time with this dr..obviously he has mentally emotionally moved on already..

Surgeon's often prefer to do surgery, not pain management.
If what he saw was not a sugical issue maybe that was why he acted that way..
But seems like he could have told you that , if something was not in his skill set....
