Has anyone tried BPC-157?

BPC-157 is a peptide that is produced in the human gut. It is a compound that protects the body and helps it heal. BPC stands for Body Protective Compound. I have never tried it, but it sounds good and I'll probably try soon.

It has been found to significantly improve the healing of tendons, muscles and nerves. It is a signalling peptide, so it reopens the healing window and creates an opportunity for healing that might not have happened otherwise.

Where it becomes particularly interesting for us is the effects on the brain. It seems to help the brain heal from damage. A reddit user even said it has helped him heal from brain damage induced by Amphetamine abuse.

This sounds very promising to me. I have taken many supplements and have improved over time, but I'm not 100%. I still have headaches and brain fog - not as frequently and not as bad as they used to be, but they're still here. I now take Lion's Mane Mushroom extract daily (1 gram). I have taken it for about 2 weeks, and I think I'm noticing improvements, but I'm not completely sure.

Therefore, I personally would be trying BPC-157.

Did anybody here try it?

Interesting. Is there a verified mechanism for its affects on the brain? Does it improve blood flow; rebuild grey matter; promote cellular homeostasis?

Any published studies?

Thanks

Click on the blue NERVES link in the original post. It will take you to the abstract of the study on rats. The only studies I found were all by the same group that did this rat study.

I'm always skeptical until studies are done by unassociated groups. It looks promising but....

This stuff looks to be popular in the body building community.

This compound is popular in the body building community, but not for the reasons you might think. It is used by body builders to help heal the damage done by too intense exercise, from what I've read on their forums.

The compound is not patentable because it is naturally occurring, so if it works it is a really good thing.

It sounds promising, indeed. I'll try and report back here.

I never thought the body building community used for anything other than its claimed ability to help ligaments, tendons and muscles heal faster when they have been strained by a heavy work-out.

"but not for the reasons you might think" What reasons were you referring to ?
