Hi credo,
I had scar tissue on the right temporal lobe but I never had a seizure until I was 10 yrs. old. My advice to you is to have your family Dr. refer you to see an Epileptologist who is a Dr. that specializes in Epilepsy. This Dr. will do tests on you to find out why it took so long for the seizure to start and if it was the TBI or something else that triggered the seizure. You should stay away from anything with nutra sweet in it because that causes more excitement in the brain and can trigger seizures. Also lack of sleep and stress are the 2 main things that can trigger seizures for many people. Try taking vitamin B12 1000 mcg. once a day until you see a Dr. the B12 calms the nerves down and you can buy it right over the counter. Here's wishing you only the best and May God Bless You! Sue |
Hi, credo,
This comes under the heading: It's always something, and then...it's something else." And usually something completely unexpected. Did you have an EEG to get the diagnosis? What are your symptoms like? Welcome, and hugs, ElaineD |
Have you had an MRI of your brain?
