Autoimmune and Canker Sores
 

Has any one gone through this. I have Hashimotos to the extent that I now have a dead thyroid and am on max synthroid dose. Now will find out end of month if I have MS. This weekend developed multiple canker sores on my lips, gums and going into my throat. Painful. Difficulty swallowing. Now on Miracle Mouthwash Frustrated. Every time I think I am getting some relief something new happens 😒

It might be an idea if you saw your dentist about this.

There are some prescription-only products which can help. Some of them contain fluocinonide though there are others.

Obviously, check with the other members of your health care team before using whatever your dentist may prescribe.

I know this is an old post, but maybe this will help others. This is a virus. What COULD help is Vit C dosing and powerful Grape Seed Extract which is an anti viral, anti fungal, anti bacterial so does a lot for us. Do your research.

When I got my mom on Grape Seed Extract many yrs ago, she got no more cold sores, which is also a virus.

And always consider any drug interactions. I've been taking Grape Seed Ex for going on 25 yrs so absolutely no virus issues in my body.
