n-acetylcysteine/ glutathione

Hi,

I have recently been looking into increasing my body's glutathione production to combat SFPN and came across the supplement 'n-acetylcysteine' and thought it might be worth a shot. However, Ive read a lot of conflicting opinions on this supplement on this forum and a couple of others too but its difficult to come to a conclusion as the threads are quite mixed and often incomplete. For that reason i thought it would be a good idea to create a specific thread in this sub-forum to make future searches easier.

So, does anyone have any experience with taking n-acetylcysteine or possibly increasing their glutathione through another method? and does it have any effect on small fiber neuropathy?

Thanks

I'm also interested in this thread, as I've read that glutathione activity can suppresses some of the side effects of L-Methylfolate; and L-methylfolate DOES have evidence for countering small fiber neuropathy.
