best neuro-ophtalmologists

I hope this post will not be received with criticism. I merely would like to know from those of you who have looked into this/have had the experience: who are some of the best Neur-Ophta in the country?

I want to go to the best. Even if there is a reason to be skeptic.

Thanks

I don't think there is a simple answer to this. One that is great with one person may be less helpful with somebody else. I've heard of the one at Johns Hopkins but he is hit and miss. There is one in Chicago who is difficult to see.

What kind of vision therapist did you see already. Neuro optometrist, behavioral optometrist, occupational therapist who does vision, Carrick chiro neuro, functional neuro ??

I was working with a neuro optometrist. I also saw neuro ophta for evaluation.
Which doctor at Hopkins please? I would be grateful for this one.
Any suggestion for west coast? I know it is hit and miss but I am going there in the spring anyway.

I suggest you research the teaching hospitals that have strong neuro-ophthalm departments, maybe even published research. Stanford, UCSF, USC, UCLA, Loma Linda, etc. on the west coast. Google neuro-ophthalmology and research.

There are subspecialties in neuro-ophthalmology.

Highly recommend Mind Eye connection in northbrook,IL. I'm actually going next week for my yearly visit. Wasn't hard to make appt. started going 5 years ago after my accident. I'm struggling now, but the glasses initially made huge difference.
