Extreme convergence issues

It occurred to me that I did not mention here what I learned about myself over the last year or so.

I have extremely poor convergence, or Convergence Insufficiency (CI) and my tolerance for convergence (accommodation) is terrible. My doctor say it is "parkinsonian." It has gotten worse over time, mainly due to using near vision more than my post-concussion brain likes it. Please read below and tell me: have you seen people with PCS where convergence is so bad and so central to symptoms?

Most of my setbacks - I am talking about months - were most likely due to convergence.

At my vision therapy, if I overdo, by this I mean converge slightly more than it is comfortable, I end up with around a month of misery. That has been tested over and over.

Both my vision therapist (neuro optometrist) and my Neuro-ophtalmologist told me (Seperately) that I should stop vision therapy since my sensitivity is so high that it is likely to undermine my recovery.

looking at close object (less than five feet away) causes eye strain.

I can't be sure that this is the root of all my problems but what is for sure is that such theory has plenty of evidence.

I just saw my neuro-opthamologist at mind eye connection. It was 1.5 years since my last appt and my symptoms were worse they have been.

When she did the test, my convergence regressed back to 2014 levels, a 11 on the scale 0-6 is normal. It's not just the number , but how the eye recovers and she said mine couldn't at all.

I'm getting new prisms so hopefully they help. But yeah, if your visual system is messed up, symptoms are going to be horrible.
