File ready for review

I receive a letter stating that my file is ready for review and a CD will come seperat, do anyone know what this is all about,it has been over a year since I been waiting on a hearing. But this is my third time filing and second time filing for a hearing and i never got or heard of a CD nor this type of letter.

It is a CD with a copy of all or a part of your SSI/SSDI file. Do you have an attorney? You usually must make the request yourself, so either your attorney requested it or if you don't have one, someone at ODAR is trying to help you.

I do have an attorney but neither did I nor my attorney requested it. I did receive the CD about three weeks later and and there was part of my records and part of them wasn't there so they asked me to supply the ones that wasn't on the CD

Alj Hearing

Hello everyone is there anyone out there have any idea how long it takes to get an answer after a hearing with an alj in Memphis Tennessee, and if so do you have a better chance of winning if the answer come quick or longer

60-90 days is typical, but 6 months or longer is not unheard of.

Even with a bench decision, the decision letter still must be written, and benefits can not begin to be processed until then. Sometimes this can happen very quickly and sometimes it takes months.

File new claim

I have been denied again, I am so tired of this sh.t ,when I finally got some good medical records they told me to file all over because the timeframe was pass the onset date or something and they would consider my new record when I refile .

Very sorry to hear this.....It has gotten to the point where you are guilty till proven innocent with SS.
Its a sad state of affairs when SS and other programs are cut over and over and it is made harder to get the help one needs.

Hang in there, many of us have gone through this guillotine of having to prove what we and out Dr's know about our conditions!
