Cervical steroid injection...
 

Okay, friends....here is the problem. I am scheduled to get two injections this Friday, for migraines. The problem is, I keep UTIs. Right now, I have a small UTI, but they do not like to do the injections when there is an active infection. Should I say screw it, get the injections, and just start taking my antibiotics? That is what I am leaning toward.

If you know the injections are frowned upon when having an active infection, I would think it might be best to treat the UTI with antibiotics and cancel the injections.

What kind of injections were planned for migraines? I am fortunate Imitrex has been working very well for me.

If you know 1) you have a UTI 2)you are taking antibiotics 3)Don't inform the dr, you lose all legal avenues if something does go wrong. The combination of the treatment added to the antibiotics may have some SERIOUS interactions. If you do not notify the practitioner the ramifications can be HUGE.
I was being treated with Botox injections for Cervical dystonia and was required to sign an agreement stating that all medical treatments needed to be disclosed or all liabilities resulting from the treatment were null and void.
