SFN and rain and pool pain

Has anyone noticed increased burning with rain storms?
Also wondering if the pool makes anyone's pain and burning worse?
Both make my burning worse!

Yes, I have pain flares with weather changes. When there are LOWs and storms, I have pain...sometimes huge pain, sometimes just more average pain.

I don't go to pools, so cannot answer that. I have read that chlorinated pools can cause problems however.
Chlorine in pools shown to cause serious health problems

Why is too much chlorine in pools so dangerous?

Magnesium cream

I purchased the magnesium cream for my thighs.
Thanks for the suggestion!
I try Epsom salt baths and they help.
Prayers that this helps me!!

Yes, I can't swim in pools because afterwards I have lots of pain and flare up. Burning is only one symptom.

Hi Goosiegoo,

My SFN discomfort is completely controlled by 3600 mg Gabapentin daily.

I do exercise in a salt water pool and neither that nor storms bother my SFN, which is very serious. But controlled as noted above.

Have you tried Gabapentin for your SFN?

Hugs, ElaineD

Storms always cause my SFN to get much worse. For me the pool water has to be really warm. If it is cold my PN flares.

I have tried gabapentin but it makes me foggy.
Lyrica allows me to be clearer. I may try again though!
