I don't know what I'm doing!!!

Hi, I just joined and am not computer literate . I hope you all can help me do this right. I do have a question, which is: does anyone know of a SI joint specialist in the New England area? I have had spine surgery and SI joint surgery with Dr. Rand in Boston but he is not a SI joint specialist and feel I need something more than he can do. Thank you, Anna M

That's okay, Anna, I don't know what you're doing either, but welcome to NeuroTalk!

Have a look around and post wherever you'd like. This is a very supportive and knowledgable community.

It might help if you take a look in the spinal disorders forum here:http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forumdisplay.php?f=22

Also, above in the blue toolbar there is a search engine where you can enter key words to locate discussions about a particular condition.

Let us know if we can assist you in any way.

Again, welcome!:)

Anna I suggest that you....

click on the blue 'referenced' site and see where that takes you? Probably someplace useful, I am sure....

As for not knowing what to do? When I first learned about such boards...I really had NO CLUE? I just read and read and read lots and lots of prior posts, and I learned a LOT! I learned that while I had ONE medical neuro condition, there are lots of other folks there who have OTHER medical issues. AND THEY ALL HURT?

Once you get a handle on what you might have, and then learn about IT you will find a wonderful bunch of good folks help you to get it all diagnosed, help you about medications and help you live, really live as best you can thru it all.

I wonder at this site and the Internet daily...It gives soo much so well [if we take care] and for FREE!

I truly hope you find what you need to know here...there are other boards, but many discourage referrals to specific information sites.. Here you can learn, and choose what you want to fit your problems...

I hope this helps - and want to see you reading and asking questions soon! - j
