Wisdom Teeth Removal
Hi everyone,
I've had PCS for almost three years, and I'm scheduled to get my wisdom teeth removed on Thursday. I've never been under anaesthesia before and I know that wisdom teeth removal can be a pretty physcial surgery in terms of your head being shaken, so I was wondering if anyone has advice or comments in terms of your experience with surgery and PCS or how you think PCS will impact the recovery process? Thanks! |
Ive had to go under for a surgery and didn't have any issue after. I remember feeling that I came out of it thinking a little clearer. Could have been the pain meds I was on after but definitely no lingering issues for me. Hope it goes well. I wouldn't worry.

red90,
Your head will not be shaken. There may be a few light impacts as the dentist breaks the tooth loose but they will not be head jarring. I would be more concerned with the anesthesia. Some forms are a bit tougher to come out of than others. Intravenous Versed is a rough one for me. Nitrous oxide is usually not a big problem for most because it is quick acting and recovering. |
