Wisdom Teeth Removal
 

Hi everyone,

I've had PCS for almost three years, and I'm scheduled to get my wisdom teeth removed on Thursday. I've never been under anaesthesia before and I know that wisdom teeth removal can be a pretty physcial surgery in terms of your head being shaken, so I was wondering if anyone has advice or comments in terms of your experience with surgery and PCS or how you think PCS will impact the recovery process?

Ive had to go under for a surgery and didn't have any issue after. I remember feeling that I came out of it thinking a little clearer. Could have been the pain meds I was on after but definitely no lingering issues for me. Hope it goes well. I wouldn't worry.

Your head will not be shaken. There may be a few light impacts as the dentist breaks the tooth loose but they will not be head jarring.

I would be more concerned with the anesthesia. Some forms are a bit tougher to come out of than others. Intravenous Versed is a rough one for me. Nitrous oxide is usually not a big problem for most because it is quick acting and recovering.
