amnesia

hi, bit shy about posting this but just wondered if anyone else here has amnesia? i've had it near 40 yrs now and it makes life difficult sometimes, esp with no family around now.

Love and Hugs to all.

Hm-m-m-m... well... I wouldn't say I have amnesia. :Noooo: But as I get older (I'm 69 now) more-&-more of my past seems to be slipping away (except for some of the less pleasant stuff I'd actually prefer to forget.) I also have pretty-much never had much of any memory of my life prior to around the age of 8. For the most part, it's sort-of like I was born 8 years old. :Dunno:

well, at least sort-of born 8 years old means you don't remember really embarrassing stuff (potty training, first day at school), and as for the less pleasant stuff you'd rather forget ... pray do tell:wink: .. kidding obvs.
