Clean Sweep!
 

Have you tried to clean sweep a room? You know, like that T.V. program were they fix up a room or even two in three days.

Well, my goal this summer has been the office. I started in June and it is almost August and guess what?

Still working on! Dang!

That show lied to me!

Things are boxed up and bookcases are ordered.

It is just so hard to part with things. (I store my dalmatian collection in the office) Maybe the books could go!:D

i love to clean sweep my home. :D but i'm a weirdo organizer. everything has it's place.

but taffy...the best way to do a clean sweep..is to have a buddy make you be tough.

if you haven't worn it in a year ( except staples..like the good suit or little black dress :wink: ) then get rid of it.

books that aren't classics...first editions or that don't have a special..very special meaning to you...then..get rid of them.

i have a HUGE curious george collection. right now...99% of it is stored away. i miss them. :(

oh...when i say get rid of...i mean donate or have a tag sale. :)

my family knows now not to get me lots of little knick nacks. i end up with so much stuff. i love to have money donated to the cancer society..that type of thing.

good luck on your clean sweep. since i just down sized by less than half..:eek: oy...the clean sweeping i just did!!

in 1979 when i moved to this town i had one large duffel bag full of stuff a guitar with case

small backpack and a small suitcase the size of a bootbox

and now i have all this damn junk and cant get rid of it

summer of 79 i had a sour record player i think two tape recorders and radio -no tv i dont think

i was 24 i guess
