My Introduction

Hello everyone!

I registered here today in hope that I can learn something about my condition. I have an ear related problem. I will post about it separately. In the long run I also hope to learn more about different brain disorders.

Regards,
Click

Hi Click

Welcome to NeuroTalk :).

I hope that you will find the community as knowledgeable and supportive as I have.

As far as your ear problem is concerned you could post more about it in the General Health Conditions & Rare Disorders forum (https://www.neurotalk.org/forum2/).

That would be a good place to get constructive thoughts from other members.

All the best.

Hello everyone, I am new to this site and I am post op 8 weeks ACDF. I have began to suffer with severe piercing headaches for the past two weeks. I'm really concerned about this and I just want to see if anyone has this problem, if so what did you do to fix it? My :)surgeon told me to give it some time.

Hi Derob

Welcome to NeuroTalk :).

As far as your ACDF is concerned, you might like to check out the Spinal Disorders & Back Pain forum (https://www.neurotalk.org/forum22/).

ACDF is discussed quite often in it and you are most welcome to start your own thread there.

All the best.

Hi Click,

I have problems with one of my ears after I had brain surgery it gets plugged up easy so I had to see a ear specialist to help take care of the problem.

What would you like to learn about the brain I've had 2 brain surgeries
to help reduce my seizures from do to my epilepsy.

Here's wishing you well and May God Bless You,

Sue

Hi Derob,

I have had wicked migraine headache on and off for yrs. and I learned that the weather has a lot to do with it. Get a calendar and write down what time the headaches start and stop also take note if there's a low pressure in the weather because often a low pressure can effect a persons hormones which in turn can trigger headaches for some people. I started using medical marijuana and I am amazed on how it has reduced my headaches and my seizures (I have epilepsy). Another thing you can do is cold water therapy all you have to do it take your temperature 3 times a day at the same time and any time you start to feel a headache starting and keep track of your temp. Then put a cold washcloth on your face and the back of your neck this calms the neurons down in the brain which in turn reduces the headaches. I was in a medical study about cold water therapy and it works great and the Dr. noticed that each time before I got a headache my temperature was up a couple of degrees. Here's wishing you only the best of luck and May God Bless You!

Sue
