Rally to the Challenge - Cure Parkinson's Trust

Rallying to the Challenge is a conference hosted by The Cure Parkinson's Trust (formed by Tom Isaacs) and the Van Andel Research Institute (both of which are wonderful organizations helping PD patients) which has one simple aim - to involve people living with Parkinson's in research. It brings together people with Parkinson's and advocates from around the world to devise ways to positively impact clinical trials and research. Anyone is welcome to attend.

This year's focus is understanding new medicines and off-label prescribing in Parkinson's.

Each year there is a pre-meeting survey, the results of which are debated at the meeting, and presented back to the Grand Challenges audience, demonstrating how people with Parkinson's influence and support research. Please help assist the CPT by completing their short survey. The more people who respond, the more reliable the information will be. The survey can also be completed by spouses and caretakers.

Please click here Rallying 2017: Perceptions of risk Survey to complete the Rallying 2017: Perceptions of Risk survey. The aim of this survey is to understand:

* Individuals' perceptions of risk
* Factors that influence individuals' decisions
* What should be considered before making the decision to take part in research
* Whether perceptions of risk differ between people with Parkinson's, healthcare professionals and researchers

I'm sure everyone at CPT and VARI will be very grateful for your time in assisting them with this project. Knowing Tom Isaacs, who was my friend, I know he would be thankful also.

Gary
