Bladder problems

Anyone have the problem of not being able to empty their bladder. If so how do you handle it.

poochie, I have white brain matter disease and deal with bladder issues, including an episode of incontinence. I'm thinking you need to see a urologist. You can get a catheter (boo) or a device to help you empty the bladder.

I have problems with not knowing when I need to go. I try to time myself at every 2-3 hours. I was having a problem with mild incontinence. My urologist fixed that. I would strongly suggest making an appointment with a urologist.

My doctor put me on Bactrim, after 2 days I started feeling better and things were working a lot better. I guess i had such a bad infection. I hope that is all it was, we will see. Thanks for your input.

There are few physical things I do to get as much pee out as possible. While sitting on the toilet I slowly bend over, then slowly sit up. Patience is key, I can never be fast in the bathroom. However I'm sitting I change it up. Lean one way or the other, forward or backward. If I'm sitting hunched over, a common position, I straighten up.

Then there's the brain trick. So often I think I'm done and wind up right back on the toilet moments later. So I occasionally will stand up and wait a moment before pulling up the pants.

This all works for #2 as well.

Hope you find something to help, poochie.
