The partial eclipse.

I was in the back yard looking at the partial eclipse with a filter so I would not hurt my eyes. When it was at it's darkest, I heard my neighbors rooster sound off. I heard cock a doodle doo several times. LOL LOL I use to live near a city most of my life. I will remember the eclipse, and the rooster. BF:hug::hug::hug:

I used glasses and saw it for just a second....was really afraid to hurt my eyes. Jeff saw many many crescent moons on the side walk filtered from the oak trees. It was beautiful!

I was concerned about my eyes also. I just took glances. I didn't stand there, and stare at the sun. All I would see is a dim orange sun with that heavily filtered device. BF:hug::hug::hug:

Cool how the birds and other animals reacted to it I heard.

I didn't get to see it because I was sleeping. I may have stayed up had I bought I protection. I plan on watching some video of it today.

It is supposed to be right through Indiana in 2024. I didn't see
it yesterday. But lots of pictures.

Yes. There is going to be another total eclipse in America in about 7 years. BF:hug::hug::hug:

The temperature went down approximately 5 degrees during the eclipse. It looked like the sun was 95% eclipsed. That 5% sun that showed was producing lots of light. BF:hug::hug::hug:

I saw ONE pretty good time-lapse video, but most of the ones I found were crappy. I'm going to look for some better ones today.
