myocardial perfusion stress test and PD

I'm scheduled to have a nuclear stress test next week. Among other things it involves an injection of a tiny dose of radioactive thallium and seeing how the heart muscle reacts. Are there any of you who have had this test and did it have an effect on your pd? Thanks, Jon

Hi Aquario,
From memory you can take your PD meds when fasting with a sip of water.
Might be better to ring Nuclear Medicine Dept just to be sure and let them know why your medicine in particular is necessary for your mobility and ability to do all the testing of your heart function.
