New Member with Parkinsons
 

I am a retired 64 year old man who has recently been diagnosed with Parkinsons. My case has been a totally non-standard presentation of the disease; one week I was in perfect health, within a matter of a few days I was extremely ill. It took about two months before I displayed any of the typical limb trembling symptom and almost four months to obtain a diagnosis. I am struggling to adjust to my new ill health status. I was advised to go on this site by a family member of an individual who suffered from PD. Unsure what I hope to achieve
