Seroquel....

Both Kay and Donna now have suggested taking seroquel.
I think that you bobby got diabetes from it and lot of weight gain????
Maybe I could get by with a small dose????
Maybe I should think about lithhium?????
I just got on the scale this morning.
43 pound weight gain since 11-2015:eek:
This is a comb of my menopause, beer, abilify and eating too much.
I have lots of excuses for gaining weight.
sigh
My big girl pant scrubs fit well, like pajamas! Tops will come in next week, I think, maybe end of this week. some are on back order so not sure what color is coming in. We shall see.

Have a good day yall.
Thank you for putting up with my threads.

worth a try

I was on Seroquel too but I cannot remember.
It is in the thread and also in a MS Word chart I created.

The side effects I usually had from every drug pdoc and I tried were

1. too much sleepiness
2. anxiety and or chest pain
3. stomach pain or nausea

=-=-=-=-
Go ahead and try any of the meds that interest you.

I spent over a year trying. It was worth it.

I will suggest the 3 that I have thought about:
resperdal, vraylar, seroquel and see what she thinks.
I may have to tell her of the self play in order for her to believe me that I am hypo.:o

Bizi

Derrick takes 25 mg in morning and 50 mg in the evening. We upped
it only because he was starting to show more anxiety and needed
to work through some changes for work and one of the programs
that help him.

Seroquel is good, but it does make you want to eat. I was on it for 3 or more years, low dose only 25 mg

My pdoc prescribed 25mg of additional seroquel at noon to see if it will help with my addictions.
(I already take 200mg at night to sleep).

A therapeutic dose of Seroquel for BP is 400-800mg/day. I know it's sometimes used as an adjunct therapy with Depakote and Lithium as the primary mood stabilizers, but I don't know at what dosages.
