Christians with PCS

I've noticed a couple of you mention the you pray and read the Bible to combat anxiety and dealing with PCS. Would you mind PMing me about this? I don't know how to PM. I can give more details in the message. Thank you in advance!

New members don't have the PM option available at first, PMs will appear when available for you.

BlueEggs, I am also new and therefore presume I cannot PM either. All I can say is, that as no one can help with my pcs I choose to make Jesus my Helper and place of refuge. In my case, I have had a personal relationship with him for 50+ years and have found him to be trustworthy. That does not mean he always does what you want.

I am now asking him to heal me as no one else gives me the time of day. My life is in his hands. He knows the real me, even though I myself feel I have lost that due to pcs. He cares. He loves me.

You read the bible along with him, so you can begin to hear what he wants to say to you. You pray, because that is how you talk to him, but it needs to become a two way conversation so you let him "get a word in edgeways" so to speak. You learn to let him become your burden bearer by taking cares and worries and leaving them at his feet. Or sometimes, you and he "carry the cross" together, with him taking most of the weight.
Does this help?
