Aubagio

Is anyone taking Aubagio 7 mg? I was automatically put on 14 mg and wondered if anyone was prescribed the 7 mg tablets?

Hello,

I'm on the 14 mg dose which was what they started me on over a year ago. I'm doing ok on it although I think I am slowly progressing now anyway. I had to quit working nearly a year ago, but I've had MS for a long time now. I had mild hair loss but I started take a small dose of biotin to counteract that and it helped. I had some pretty significant GI issues and I spend a good part of my day in the bathroom, not sure if that is the drug, or MS or my diet or what.

It is an easy to take drug with limited side effects compared to most. I hope you'll tolerate it well.

I have been taking Aubagio for over two years now. I take a 5mg biotin capsule at night with it as well as a probiotic. It can cause hair thinning in the first several months which I had but the biotin helps to counteract that. Now my hair is thicker and is also wavy which I never had before. I had GI issues the first few months as well and because I have a nearly vegetarian diet the probiotic helps with the GI issues.

There's a program called MS One to One that gives payment assistance and because of them I've never had to pay my $160 prescription copay. I hope you'll qualify for that too. Their toll free number is 855-676-6326.

It is so much easier than taking an injection. Good luck and let me know how it works out for you.
