SFN and Disability

How many of you have small fiber neuropathy and have been declared disabled by the SSA by it? Thank you. PS: I don't know how to create a poll. Can someone either teach me or do one for me? Something like A.) I have SFN, but I do not get disability. B.) I have SFN and I do get disability C.) I have SFN and I am waiting to see if I get approved for disability D.) How many years have you been on disability due to your SFN? E.) Have you ever been 'healed' from your SFN to the point that you were able to go back to work? Thanks!

SSDI approval depends mainly on if you can do any gainful work.
Think of it this way - What are you able to do, for how long, any lifting/standing/bending limitations. Also education, training , skills factor in.

If these things are not covered in your doctors notes , this is something to talk about & get documented. Also any ADL (activity of daily living) limitations..

The forum sticky threads have great info and helps to clarify how to proceed and what is required for best results when applying for SSDI.
