Will Ketamine Compounding Cream make me hallucinate?

First off hello everyone. Longtime lurker. Just registered.

I have really sever PN in my feet only.

Recently got a compounded RX filled but and scare of some of the ingredients. I don't know any of the percentages in each medicine as it is not listed.

Ingredients are as follows:

Ketamine
Amitriptyline
Bupivacaine
Clonidine
Gabapentin

Ketamine worries the worst as it is derived from PCP and is a hallucinogenic.

Amitriptyline because I am already on another antidepressant Lexapro for anxiety. Plus I took a cousin Imipramine (it's cousin) years ago and it turned me into a zombie and all I did was sleep on it.
Also worried about taking 2 antidepressants together can cause Serotonin Syndrome.

Clonidine I also took in the past and made my blood pressure really low. I got faint upon standing up too quickly.

My first experience with a compounded rx. How much of these drugs actually get into the bloodstream when taken topically.

Sorry...just a bit nervous. Thanks for listening!

I forgot to mention that I already take Benazepril for my blood pressure and it is well controlled on it.

And I take 400 mg Gabapentin capsules 3X a day. Tried 800 mg, but made me way too tired.

Johnfrisco, welcome to NeuroTalk :).

You could use the "Interactions Checker" as well as looking up information about the various drugs here Drugs.com | Prescription Drug Information, Interactions & Side Effects.

OP: You mention sever PN in feet only. I have a friend who did about everything for her sever 30 yrs of PN in mostly feet, even hyperbaric chambers and all the drugs and their side effects. We saw her go thru some of the S/E from being dizzy to nauseated.

She finally got on Grape Seed Ex about 5 yrs ago and she is almost a new person, lots of years of suffering. She no longer takes the drugs and some tylenol now and then when needed. Here is a thread on the OPC's which include Pycnogenol and Grape Seed Ex.

I can't speak on the drug you asked about. I work 95% alternatives for my own health.

Correction: Thought something looked wrong here: it's severe. Spelling.
