Enzyme question
 

Very long story short. B12 deficiency that now has been corrected. Suspicious that also have issue with low enzymes. Started a couple of days ago taking pepsin. My doctor just put in an order to have my enzyme levels checked. My question is how many days should i wait until I go for the test? I stopped talking the enzyme supplement yesterday.

Which enzymes has your doctor arranged to have tested?

I doubt that taking enzymes as supplements by mouth would be of much benefit.

Enzymes are proteins and so will be rapidly broken down into their constituent amino acids during digestion, in just the same way as the proteins which you eat as part of your food are.
