Essential Oils for Nerve Pain

I've been experimenting with Essential Oils in the last few years and it's been good experience. My favorites seem to be Frankinsence and Myrrh (Zum Oil), Peppermint, Bergamont, Orange, Wintergreen. I use them for all the aches and pains and the nerve issues too.

11 Essential Oils For Nerve Pain, Neuropathy And Sciatica

My favorite lotions/ointments seem to be Topricin and Ultra Tiger Balm.

My major issues are OA and some nerve damage from hip replacement.

I did not find essential oils helpful for the neuropathy thing.

I have found herbs useful. Most important for me was St. John's wort in tincture made from fresh plant material. American skullcap (fresh tincture), prickly ash, and ashwagandha I also think have helped.

St. John's wort is contraindicated with SSRIs and most other drugs because it increases their removal from the body.

SJW can also elevate blood pressure, I had that experience many yrs ago when I tried SJW.

My mum takes alongside her blood pressure lowering medication for depression and she is doing fine under her Doctors supervision... so far, she likes it. It has a few disadvantages, but it is one of the best herbs for nerve pain we have in the world, so there you go.
