busy day
 

went to the general p. got my flu shot ,another type of pneumonia shot and blood drawn for my a1c. my blood pressure was 150. he wants to see me in three weeks because of it.I told him about the lock and he said not to worry.
he called visiting nurses for p.t.- later a therapist called and we will meet a week from friday

Yes. Definitely a busy day!

I am realy worried about my blood pressure. It hit one ninety but I don't know if the machine is working yesterday at the doctor's officeit hitit 15 twice and then 140/
I will call them before I come.too much stress- i am all alone

I'm glad that some things are going in the right direction (PT and therapist).

I wish your BP was better tho.
The top number (systolic) can become higher with anxiety, so if you are taking it at home, try to do it when you are relaxed (if possible).
I hope that when you see your PCP again your blood pressure is better overall :hug:

My new aide vanessa is such a gem. she listens to gospel music at night and doesn't watch tv or read except for the Bible. She is so honest and sensitive.
Yesterday she cleaned around the bed.that took so long. she is so even tempered and so down to earth and so willing to help. I am thinking of giving a pair of beautiful heavy 18k gold earrings. She likes earrings. She and Marcia are really special. she is an excellent cleaner. she was so funny and said yesterday she felt like untangling the electrical wires. she says abby is naughty. Abby is always racing around with her. I already miss her.she is a very spiritual woman. I am not lonely when she is here, Cecilia is negative in a lot of ways.
she doesn;t feel sorry for the puerto ricans. for example. I keep my mouth shut

I'm sorry that Cecilia shared those thoughts with you. You have a kind heart, so I imagine it must have been very hard not to say anything to her but I understand that it is pointless to argue with some people because it can lead to an uglier debate.

I know you like giving gifts, but I would be weary of giving something so extravagant.

I have a work friend whose father still lives in Puerto Rico. It was over a
week before she heard from him but he is safe and the two of them talked again after the first call.

Lots of Puerto Ricans are planning to come to the states -- maybe
places where they already have family or know people.
