Ok...going for my third try at approval for the DRG trial. I'm scheduled for it November 6th so let's see if my new insurance will approve it. The Dr and staff seen very confident that blue cross will approve...they said u items healthcare has been the only one denying it...so fingers crossed I can finally do the trial and then that it gives me significant relief and we can go for the full implant.

Good luck! You might want to start the SSDI application process now. If you respond well to treatment and can return to work, then you have 9 months where you're allowed to transition if you utilize the Ticket to Work program or your Alleged Onset Date goes back 12 months, which yours would.

You can start the application online or even call SS to setup an appointment and the day you call becomes your protected filing date. If your LTD is entitled to your daughter's benefits there is no rush until the insurance gives you a deadline. If not, you should at least call this month to maximize her benefits.
