Rheumatoid Arthritis and Peripheral Neuropathy
 

Hi! Does anyone here have these diagnoses? I’ve recently been told I have RA. I was diagnosed with SFN 5 years ago, and it quickly escalated. My father had severe neuropathy and was a Type 1 diabetic. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s 35 years ago (47 now). Not sure if that is important but I know that is an autoimmune disease as well

I’d like to know what your experience is with both. Did you find some of your unresolved neuropathic pain to be lessened once you started treatment for the RA? What alternative therapies (herbs, massage, acupuncturist, exercise, etc helped with breakthrough pain and quality of life?
