I looked into medical marijuana in my state
We recently approved a law to allow it.
Only certain docs in certain counties are "recommending" (They cannot use the word "prescribing") it to patients -- docs need extra paperwork or something. And Insurance does not cover it. And is somewhat expensive. 'Interesting that the MJ has to be grown in state -- cannot cross state lines because it is still against the law re the feds. It is only allowed for certain conditions, including "debilitating" conditions. M |
I've thought about the medical use of it, and wonder if it works. I wonder if it has a calming down affect. If it remains against the law, I would not feel comfortable using it. BF:hug::hug::hug:

If it gets approved for local use then I would not be afraid of using it.

'Would have to find a doctor approved to "recommend it." And pay out of
pocket. And it would have side effects like everything else. M |
Worried about lots of things
I had been doing ok about worrying by ignoring things/not going anywhere/staying home/ protecting myself.
But tonight I am worried about work. Also about other things like money and stuff. =-=-= But mostly I want to be able to handle the next few hours between now and bed time so I can get my clothes out for tomorrow, take a shower, . . . . M |
I hope you can focus tonight.

My father-in-law is an amputee and a big pot smoker. He lives in Florida, where they recently legalized medical marijuana, and has a qualifying condition, but won't use the program because of something to do with his driver's license if he does...
I will only smoke (and only a ve3ry little) if I am home and not going back out, probably only at night. Some people make the mistake of smoking too much if they are using it for medicinal purposes. It only takes me about two puffs to get relief from my pain and spasms, and that's all I'm after. But it is relaxing. You can get loopy and feel unwell if you smoke too much. |
