Dog hit me in head

Hi all,

i have been trying to keep my anxiety about head impacts under control but this morning something happened that felt more significant than previous instances.

My dog jumped over me (i was sitting down) and as he went over his ribs/stomach hit my head. This did not cause much pain but i did feel my head jerk forward from the impact. My dog is quite light

immediately after this i felt very anxious, but was able calm myself down in a matter of minutes. Yet the reason i am worried that this could have caused a concussion is that over the course of the day i had a variety of new and troubling symptoms this included feeling confused (for example walking into a room and forgetting why i needed to go in there) as well as my vision being a little blurry at times. My neck also felt more sore than usual.

Im worried that these symptoms could be caused by a concussion and wonder if you knowledgable members think that this impact could cause a concussion or if my symptoms could be due to anxiety or whiplash.

Thanks for taking your time to read this, i am very grateful for all of your support through this difficult time.

Teo
