SoPD blog's overview of the state-of-play concerning PD research in 2018

I found it to be quite interesting and very readable. Most of the usual suspects get a mention.

An excellent blog. Simon Stott, a researcher at Cambridge University, is doing a great job communicating the science of PD.

It's not a criticism of him, but what benefit will PwP get from any of this in 2018, or 2019, or 2020 ... ?

There's always going to be a lag between research and general use, so perhaps the question that I should be asking is:

What new therapies for PD will be introduced in 2018?
