Silent migraines, anxiety…or just plain PCS?

I’ve been dealing with the following symptoms:
  1. Wooziness feeling; a motion-sickness feeling without any motion
(Does NOT affect balance and isn’t triggered by motion)
  2. Hypersensitive gag flex with occasional retching
  3. Soreness/ headache at the base of skull
  4. Occasional squinting of the eyes
(Not caused by anything in particular. By far the most obscure and unspecified complaint. I really can’t describe it very well. My eyes squint like I haven’t slept in 2 days.)
  5. Brain fog
  6. Acid reflux
  7. Generic anxiety
(Which I’ve had my entire life, but never was a big deal)

The general trigger for all of these appears to be stress. Unfortunately, I get stressed incredibly easy. Migraines, migraine aura AND anxiety all run in my family (great genes!)

I saw a nuero who suggested I might have silent migraines. Unfortunately, the only way to determine this is to become a guinea pig and try various drugs. I’m not a fan of this, however, I understand I might need to try it in order to actually feel better for once. He offered me Topamax.
He also suggested I think about addressing my anxiety first, which might help my symptoms above. Similar to a chicken-or-the-egg type problem.

What should I do next? Try the Topamax? Try an anti-anxiety med? Don't take any drugs at all?

Maybe consider alternative treatments for some of the symptoms..
Hypnosis? Acupuncture?

Just remembered this ...for health/mental/emotional factors..
EFT - Tapping Basics page - How to..
https://www.emofree.com/eft-tutorial...to-do-eft.html
There might be videos on you tube showing how to do it also..

It sounds quite weird, but I tried it for past health issues, it seemed to help.

Some have struggled with anxiety until they tried medication (SSRI, SNRI) to lower their anxiety levels. Once their anxiety levels were lowered, they learned anxiety reducing skills so they could wean off the medication.

I am a firm believer in the benefits of 5-HTP and L-Theanine to help the brain reduce its anxiety triggers. I replaced 14 years of SSRI with them. My doctor is supportive of this method. For me, 100 mgs of 5-HTP and 200 mgs of L-Theanine with 1000 mcgs of B-12 in the morning does fabulous.
