Virginia Beach - any ketamine infusion places nearby?

I've had CRPS for 16 years now. In recent months, it is so painful, I can't move without pain getting even worse. I'm laid up 24/7 with very poor quality of life now. Pain gets so bad i wanna die! Does anyone know of anywhere in or near Virginia Beach where they do the in-patient ketamine infusions? I know that's what i need based on how bad i am, but even if you know of any out-patient ketamine centers close by, i could try that although it would be extremely difficult to even go back and forth everyday. Like I said, moving has almost become impossible. Any direction/help/advice anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated!

Williamsburg VA

There is a doctor in Williamsburg that does ketamine for RSD/CRPS, but I do not think he takes insurance and do not know what he charges. My neurologist told me about him, but I have never seen him so I don’t know if he is any good. But here is his info...

Dr. Newman

Thank you for the info! I actually just spoke with their office today and they do NOT take any insurances and I thought his charges were high - $350 eval and $900 per infusion. I still prefer to find in-patient. I am going to contact RSDSA tomorrow to see if they have a list of places

Ketamine

I've been receiving infusions for SFN pain, but it is at the Naval Hospital. Ketamine is relatively new in the Tidewater area, so it may be difficult to find a reputable practice for this type of treatment. I get 2-hr infusions twice a month, and Ketamine has helped take the edge off for 5-7 days following each appointment.

I pay $1200/day per out-patient ketamine infusion (Boston), just for a reference on price. My doctor does take insurance, but says most insurance won't cover it.

Do you have the department name and phone # (and even the doctor's name) at the Naval Hospital that uses ketamine? I know they only treat military and I'm not (but have had family who was). I'm hoping I could at least have the doctor recommend any other pain management doctors or centers in the Hampton Roads area that are using it. (I am aware of the out-patient center in Williamsburg)
Thank you very much!
