Gum swelling and slight face swelling, what do I do?

For over a week now I've had tooth pain, it was once specific tooth that pain went away for a few days and now it's my whole right side of my upper gum. It feels like a lot of pressure more than anything, the roof of my mouth on that side is also swollen slightly. I feel pressure in my right ear, and my ear is slightly swollen. I feel a slight pressure in my nose, and after touching my face it's slightly swollen on the right side (Not physically noticeable but I feel the difference between both sides of my face) the ER doctor assumed it was an infection so I was given antibiotics but the swelling is still there, I wasn't able to see a dentist because they were closed. I don't have dental insurance and not sure what to do. What could this be? Is this an emergency??

SummerB,

You need to see a dentist for xrays to help determine the health of your teeth as you could have an infected tooth.

The antibiotics may temporarily subside the symptoms and some of the swelling but they will not cure an infected tooth.

Sounds like a dental appt. But I've had good success with Myrrh tincture on a painful sometimes area of a tooth. My tooth was infected years ago and amoxcillan worked and then I've managed it all with Myrrh, this is ME. Good luck.
