~ Is my judgment based on the way I feel instead of facts?
~ Am I confusing “possibility” with “certainty”? It may be possible, but is it likely?
~Is this a hassle or a horror?

Unfortunately, it usually takes me a day or more before I can get to a place where I can analyze things like that if I am dealing with anything significant :o

But those are some good questions to try to ask yourself to talk yourself down for everyday situations.
