Cardiolipin as potential mediator of malformed alpha-synuclein

This is way too technical for most of us, including me. But I include it here so that those of us looking for new clinical trials to take part in can have good background info.

Cardiolipin exposure on the outer mitochondrial membrane modulates ?-synuclein | Nature Communications

The article postulates cardiolipin as a possible mediator of malformed alpha-synuclein, which is thought to be one of the most important causes of neuron pathology in Parkinsonism.

Potentially, drug trials that attempt to improve the cardiolipin situation could be of interest to PwP.
