New mwmber - have concussion - what to do

Hi

I am pretty sure, from looking at other threads, that I have a case of mild concussion and was hoping to get a sense of what medical checks I need, if any.

Nine days ago the end of the leg of a toppling ironing board caught me clean on the temple. I felt dazed, dizzy and confused for about a week afterwards. I have also felt very tired since and in the last few days have felt dizzy and had a touch of vertigo. When walking around outdoors I am scared of having a fall. I still feel very tired although part of that is done to sleep apnoea and benzodiazepine withdrawal.

I was just wondering if there was anything to be gained from a medical check-up at this stage? I mean if there was anything seriously wrong I guess I would have had symptoms like serious headaches and vomiting, right?

If I so need checks, what would they be? MRI scan?

Or is it likely that I just need to stop worrying and take it easy for another couple of weeks or so?
