Back injury

I was walking down a hill and slipped and fell, and my back hit the side of the hill. Its been a few days and its still hurting and my headaches have came back. Is it possible to get a concussion from not hitting your head, and just violent force to the back or possible shaking. Im really worried that ive messsed myself up even more and am going to be in pain forever. Can't afford to see the doctor at the moment.

Back strains from slip & falls can hurt bad for a week or 2.
Are you doing home care things to treat your sore muscles?
Heat/cold what ever feels best or alternate, OTC pain relievers, sore muscle rub topical?
Might be other self care /home care things to be found online with a web search .

It is very difficult to get a concussion without hitting your head. Your body would need to be restrained and severe whiplash would accompany the concussion. This would be like hitting a concrete wall in a car with seatbelts holding the body in place with the head whipping violently. OUCH.

You likely strained your back and or neck. Treat them. Don't worry about a concussion.

Thanks for the advice, I'm just trying to excercise a bit, since it still hurts after five days. Mostly was worried about the pain from my head and back being forever.

Thank you, I'll try not to think about my head, I was just concerned because the headaches came back and it had me doubting my experience.
