2 Years in Pain, I need answers

Hi all.
I just found this group and have been reading a lot of your posts. Many of your posts sound very similar to what I have been going through.

Heres my history:
I workout a lot, mix of weight lifting and gymnastics type of movements. I gained about 25 lbs of muscle within a year so theres obvious inclinations of anatomy getting shifted around quickly. Anyways, about 2 years ago I fell off a set of rings (like gymnastics rings) and immediately felt a pinching pain in my shoulder/tightness in the front of my neck. Later on/next few days, the pain became extremely severe. Went to the dr but I was diagnosed with a severe illness and stopped all activity for 2-3 months in which the pain persisted. After a year I finally got everything checked out.
-Cervical MRI: some disc herniation but spine specialist reported normal, nothing to worry about
-Brachial Plexus MRI: normal
-EMG: one reported normal, one reported with some abnormalities
-seen m3-4 chiropractors, PT for 6 months (ART, gratson +exercises all which do nothing, possibly make it worse), trigger point injections for 1.5 years, cervical epidural done... all no relief
-take topomax
-gone to two neurologists, both tell me its muscular

-pain is in my pinky and ring finger, bicep, shoulder, shoulder blade area, pec/chest, subclavicular/infraclavicular areas, up SCM, jaw and occipital headaches

-fatigue with brushing hair, teeth etc.

I could go on...

Any suggestions?

Has anyone tried rib mobilisations? to check or possibly drop the top rib back into place?

Manual trigger point work of the muscles? Muscles cannot be fixed/relaxed if triggers are in them.. see our TOS sticky threads for more info..

Other things that helped for me..
IF stim - DC used it so then got my own off Amazon under 100.00
low/soft/cold laser - DC used it and it was very fast & helpful for trouble spots/joints.

but rehab/recovery for my repetitive work RSI/TOS was about 2.5 yrs... but part of that was delayed due to work comp baloney..
I really got best recovery when off work and found a very good DC & when I plateaued in my recovery I found a PT teacher that tried the rib mob ( it was exactly what I needed). My spasmed muscles had pulled my top ribs up pinching things between my collarbones.. I then told DC about that and he followed up as needed..

If you let us know what area of the country you are in someone may be able to point you in the direction of a doctor that could help.

In my case a neurologist wasn't able to help, but a thoracic surgeon was.

STL123 -- are you from St. Louis? Have you been to Barnes? It's a great place to try.

Im looking into thoracic surgeons but I wasn't sure if that would be the correct route to go to.
