Brainwave Optimization/PTSD

I am new to the group. I have been diagnosed with ADHD, Major Depressive Disorder & Bipolar II. Things took a turn for the worse 2yrs ago, physically. (I was convinced I was dying) After several doctors, tests etc it was concluded I was suffering from PTSD. Upon my research I stumbled across Brainwave Optimization. I started treatment June 1st 2018. (Completed 7 in house sessions & now for next 21 days I do 10min sessions at home) Curious if anyone else has done this or have any questions. Personally I've had major improvements on many aspects of my life, hoping it continues.

Hi PenK

Welcome to NeuroTalk :).

I can relate to some of your story; I am in remission from MDD thanks to a combination of my hard work and skilled help from my professional mental health care team.

I know very little about Brainwave Optimization. From a look at its Web site I am not particularly impressed.

Perhaps it would help if you discussed it with members of your professional mental health care team and sought their views of it.

All the best.

Thank you for your response. I have a medical Doctor, Psychiatrist & Therapist all on board & excited about this treatment. Currently I'm on day #18 of the process & am Very happy with results. I have been keeping a journal on progress both written & public videos on FB. Many people either never heard of this, know no one who's done it or are skeptical. But I can honestly say it has saved my life! Especially in regards to the PTSD. Much love

I have a location close by here, but never followed through...

Part of it was price, some was I would need to stop taking my meds for headaches and sleep....

I have a TBI, PTSD, sensory integration, are the most prominent.
