Hello, trying to help Mom
About a year ago my mom (just turned 70) was walking, talking & enjoying time with friends (in an assisted living facility). Since then she has lost the ability to speak, walk, feed herself or any activity at all. She is in a wheelchair, transferred by a lift from bed to wheelchair & back & living in a private residence with around the clock nurses. Neurologist has said she has Atypical Parkinsons (not sure which one) & general Encephalopathy (again nothing specific). I am always looking for answers or any suggestions to care for her better & keep her comfortable.

Hi ScottTX
Welcome to NeuroTalk :). I am sorry to read about your mother. You could describe what has happened to her in the General Health Conditions forum (https://www.neurotalk.org/forum2/). Other members may be able to offer you helpful suggestions. All the best. |
