What a sweet story (no pun intended)!

I love, love, love possums. :heartthrob: I used to feed one that came to my back yard every night. I don't know if it was a male or female but it was so cute and very polite. He/She would eat, get a drink and wash it's face then mosey on it's way.

I wish people would look at possums as their friends. I know they aren't always cute to look at but they can't help that and they help with keeping bugs and rodents out of yards and gardens. :wink:

I have possums on my land. Sometimes they come round late at night for food hand-outs.

Here is one with a baby on her back.

Kiwi, your possums in Australia look a little different than the ones here look.

Here are a couple of pictures of what the possums here look like. Ours have smaller ears. Your possums are cuter, though! :wink:
