Hello from PA
 

Hello to everyone,

I'm new to this site and I'm so glad I found it. I have CIPN my symtoms started aobut 8 years ago. I had a sural biopsy in November 2006 from that I was misdianoised in December of 2006 and put on Predisone ( my version of Hell) which gave me Myopathy. I was taken off the predisone that took 4 months. My 3 doctors in PA said it was a vasculitis, I went to the Cleveland Clinic in March and they totaly disagreed and said it was CIPN. I have been on Lyrica since last July, I new I would gain weight from the predisone but I didn't realize that Lyrica would do the same thing.

I'm so glad to have found this site, its hard to explain to anyone with out this disease just how it feels. I haven't worked since last July and I'm on SSI I'm also see a therapist since I've had a hard time giving up my career. I'm unable to drive longe distant since I have no feeling in my feet.

But I'm happy to be feeling better and glad to be here.
