Sensitivity to Cold 2 Weeks After Wisdom Teeth Removal

I got my wisdom teeth out two weeks ago, and had some complications with the medications but that got resolved. I only got two removed out of three, both on my lower jaw, and the left wisdom tooth site healed perfectly and there is no pain or sensitivity, but the right wisdom tooth site is causing me trouble. I’ve been experiencing extreme sensitivity to cold on my right side where I got the tooth removed, and I look at the site in the mirror and the gum is clearly separated from the last molar in my jaw, leaving a distinct gap that I think is causing the pain. I’m not sure what to do, as I’ve been brushing my teeth normally, careful to avoid the gums in the back so as not to hurt myself, and I’ve been doing prescribed mouth wash rinses twice a day for the complications I dealt with when I originally got them removed. I can’t drink anything cold and let it hit the right side of my mouth without experiencing severe pain, however, when I went to my dentist for the post-op check up last week, she said everything was healing fine and there was no sign of infection or dry sockets and that the sites were completely closed, but I’m still in pain. Is there any possible reason as so why I’m still in pain?
