Help with CBD dosage
Hi, I am new to CBD, which I take as an oil 6 drops 3 X aday for agressive myoclonus - A condition which causes my body to jolt violently for hours at a time. Should I be on a higher dose, and if so by how much.
My sister said an alsation was prescribed over 3 times as much! :Thanx: |
Hi there,
Dosage is somewhat specific to each person, but not entirely. I can try to help you, but first I need to know what 6 drops even means in terms of dosage. To be precise, I would need to know how many mg of CBD is in each of your doses, or drops if you like. |

Hi, I found it difficult to negotiate the site - I am new member. The bottle is 500mg, 10ml/0.33oz ( 200 drops ). Made by Hemptouch 5% hemp extract Per 5 drops cannabidiol (CBD) 12.5mg. I hope this information will help you. Thankyou |

Hi,
Welcome, even though that's a strange thing to say here. But hopefully you can find some useful information and support from the community. I contacted this company to get a sense of their product. They were slow getting back to me, but they finally did for the most part. Simply put, you should take as much as you need to treat your symptoms. I can say that there are plenty of epileptic children who take higher doses than you are taking now. CBD doesn't really have a upper dose, partly because of limited studies, partly because it's so safe and well tolerated as far as we can tell. So my suggestion would be to slowly increase your dosage until you have the desired results. Sometimes I need only 150-20 mg to stop my fasciculations, sometimes I need 50-80mg. It depends. I would also suggest trying full spectrum and isolate forms, and see which works better for you. I hope this helps. Good luck! Quote:
