Quick question/concern?

Can jumping into the pool give you a concussion? It's silly, but I jumped into the pool today for the first time in a couple years (since my concussion) because it's been a fear of mine ever since the injury. And my head felt just as horrible hitting the water as I expected it would. My head didn't hit anything besides the water and I jumped feet first, but wow do I feel horrible now! Any explanation to this? Was this incredibly stupid of me to do? I mean I was jumping in the pool my whole life before and I was fine?
