Is every time worse?

Going on my 3rd PCS bout
Is every time worse even though I did not hit it so hard.
I guess the question is every time you get symptoms are they lasting longer?
Or you might go through it faster?

Simply put, YES!.....Did you know they can add up?.....Get your "bell rung" those times you know how hard it was.....But in truth the right hit in the same place can really cause permanent problems.....And not even think you were hit that hard.

You must be careful, just not be neurotic.

Yeah you know the first and second times I got it it was just 2 months appart and I thought there was some re injury of the same spot.

Then I went to the Neurologist and he told me stop boxing for 6 months. And then go back in it.

I stayed clear of head bumps and punches for 2 years. i felt like my old self again and this is where I went wrong. I went to spar after being able to do everything. So now Im back where I started. Over all would you say its going to last longer?

Well, some get very lucky, and some (me) its been 11 1/2 years and no change.....As much as I try to express myself, sometimes people dont get a second chance.....Life is hard, I didnt get a second chance other than being alive!
So it could last longer, or be permanent? We are all so very different and so alike.

I would say just like my therapists said years ago. One year mark, then 5 year then 10 year...dont expect much healing the longer time passes.

My list of problems are long, I fight confusion, headaches, balance issues.

I am not allowed to drive, I would not say I am stupid, but I am slow.I cant hold a conversation is any loud public area, I have sensory integration, and to say I am jumpy when a loud sudden noise happens I jump out of my skin!

It would have been nice to get a second chance, but that was not my option? LOL!....Now I just feel its my job to speak up, and out to remind, or educate people how severe and permanent things can be..

So I have never worked again, or driven....That should speak volumes.

I totally understand you my brother i fought all these things 2 times before now its the Third time i hope I manage to rise above.
Its so inspiring that you are trying to educate people sharing your story. I think I really want to do the same all my friends are boxers and fighters and i see some of them are getting to where I am.

If I may ask you what was your incident?

Much love and strength!!!
